The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) crafted the National Energy Strategy (2007-2020) to implement ways to develop conventional, renewable and alternative resources- wind, solar, oil shale and nuclear. Expected investments in the sector are around $1.4 – 2.1 billion through 2020.
Since started of JOENERGY, has provided the industry suppliers, experts and thought-leaders from the Energy supply chain, the opportunity to connect with new customers, increase their sales opportunities and expand business networks in this fast-changing marketplace.

The contribution of renewable energy to the energy mix is expected to increase from 1% in 2007 to 7% in 2015 and 10% by 2020.

Renewable energy generation consists of 600 - 1000 MW of wind, 300-600 MW of solar power and 30 - 50 MW of waste.
JOENERGY is the largest event for energy in Jordan, it will held at 30 July till 2 August 2018 in Amman, it allows to the Producers of energy industries to showcase and promote their energy solutions.

In cooperation with the Ministry of energy and mineral resources, the Jordan construction contractors association (JCCA), the Ministry of Public Works , Housing, and The Middle East association of the solar energy industries (MESIA) In conjunction with the 12th International Construction and Engineering Industries Exhibition, under slogan "Opportunities and alternatives to investment in energy , global Economic , political challenges and the energy crisis " in the period from 30 July -2 August 2018, Which is considered the first and most important exhibition in the region, that specialized in the renewable energy sector, Alternative energy and mining.
Which is being shared by many official institutions and companies investing Locally, Arab and internationally in the energy, renewable , alternative energy Sectors, mining and supporting sectors to create new ways to raise awareness about the World’s need for new of energy and alternative energy, that help preserve the Environment and reduce overall energy consumption. In various types of traditional Sources, which reduces the economic burden on governments and citizens.
Where the expectations indicate a rise in the volume of spending in the construction sector, engineering industries, advanced technology in the renewable and alternative energy sector, due to the low level of conflict in the region and the beginning of preparation for rebuilding projects in the countries of conflict, especially in Syria and Iraq.
